Square shaped brunette Spruce cone chip plateau
The Spruce cones were chopped up in a shredder. The chips were mixed with a biobased binder and cast
into a mould. When the surface had dried the top layer was sanded down. Once removed from the mould
the plywood base started to curve as the biobased binder dried. When totally dry the surface was
treated with a couple of layers of Shellac to make it more resistant to moisture.
